From Meme to Meaning: Bay to Breakers for the Animals

Bay to Breakers is one of my favorite annual traditions, and this year it means even more. I’m running to help the San Francisco SPCA raise critical funds so they can continue their love matchmaking — connecting pets with the humans who need them just as much.

Just by visting this site, I know you’ve experienced the joy of a dog choosing you as their person, and you know how life-changing that bond can be. Every dollar raised helps more animals get that second chance.

I hope to see you out there! I’ll be dressed as the dog from the iconic “This Is Fine” meme, with my friend as the flames — because even in the chaos, love, community, and a wagging tail make everything better.
