At Dog of Honor Weddings & Events, we believe a wedding day should feel like the happiest, most authentic version of you. And that means all of you.

We proudly serve couples of every race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, ability, body type, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation. We also adore all dog breeds, especially Pitties and Staffies.

Two brides, two grooms, nonbinary couples, interfaith and intercultural couples, couples of every configuration: if you love your dog and you're planning a wedding in Northern California, we are your people.

What this looks like in practice

• We use the names, pronouns, and terms you give us every time. If you'd like us to use specific language when referring to you, your partner, or your wedding party, just let us know.

• We work seamlessly with LGBTQIA+ owned and affirming venues, planners, photographers, and officiants, and we're always happy to share referrals.

• Our team is trained to provide warm, professional, judgment-free service to every couple and every family we meet.

• We welcome dogs of every breed, size, age, and ability, including shy, senior, and special-needs pups. Every dog of honor deserves their moment.

Respecting Traditions

We know that no two weddings look exactly alike. From multicultural celebrations and religious ceremonies to family traditions passed down for generations, we're happy to adapt our attire and approach to honor what matters most to you. If there are customs, expectations, or traditions you'd like us to be aware of, we're always eager to learn and participate respectfully.
